Fresh 48 Photography at Parkwest Medical Center | Welcome to the World, Kellan!

There is something so incredibly special about those first hours after a baby enters the world. Everything is new, emotions are running high, and families are soaking in the sweetest moments with their newest little love. These days pass in such a blur, which is exactly why I love Fresh 48 newborn photography so much. 🤍

I recently had the honor of meeting sweet baby Kellan for his Fresh 48 photography session at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, and what a special time it was!

Those first couple of days in the hospital are filled with tiny details that are so easy to forget as the days turn into weeks and the weeks turn into months. From those impossibly tiny fingers and toes to the peaceful newborn expressions and the way a brand-new baby fits perfectly in your arms, there is so much worth remembering.

What Is a Fresh 48 Photography Session?

A Fresh 48 session is a relaxed newborn photography experience that takes place during the first 24–48 hours after birth, typically while your family is still at the hospital.

Unlike a traditional newborn session, which usually takes place at home or in a studio a little later, Fresh 48 photography focuses on capturing your baby's very first chapter. These sessions preserve the natural, unposed moments of those early hours, documenting the details and emotions that make welcoming a new baby so unforgettable.

For families at Parkwest Medical Center, a Fresh 48 session is a beautiful way to remember the beginning of your baby's story in the very place where it all started.

The Sweetest First Memories With Baby Kellan

Meeting a newborn so early in his story is one of the biggest privileges of being a newborn photographer. Every baby has a story of their own, and I love helping families preserve the little details that make these first days so meaningful.

Kellan's Fresh 48 session was all about documenting this fleeting season before it became a distant memory. Newborns change so quickly during those first few weeks, and the tiny details you see in the hospital are details you'll want to remember forever.

These photographs become more than just pictures for your phone or a gallery to share with family and friends. They become a way to look back years from now and remember what those first days felt like, how little your baby was, and just how much your world changed when they arrived.

Why Book a Fresh 48 Session at Parkwest Medical Center?

As a newborn photographer serving Knoxville and the surrounding East Tennessee area, I believe those first hours deserve to be documented just as beautifully as the milestones that come later.

Fresh 48 sessions are designed to be easy and relaxed for new parents. You're already in the hospital, you don't have to worry about getting everyone dressed and out the door for a separate appointment, and there is no need to wait until you're home to begin documenting your baby's story.

My goal is to make the experience as comfortable as possible while preserving natural, meaningful images of your newest family member. After more than a decade of photographing families, I know how quickly these moments pass, and I want you to have photographs that bring you right back to them.

Whether this is your first baby or another sweet addition to your family, these early memories are worth holding on to.
